Live At Adolf666 (CD-R)
by John Hegre & Marcelo Aguirre & Die Polizei
John Hegre is a legendary figure in the current noise and experimental scene, largely due to his status as member of Jazzkammer, Norway's strongest extreme sonic project. He regularly collaborates with Maja Ratke, Helge Sten (of Supersilent), among others.
Marcelo Aguirre is a self-taught percussionist and vocalist, born in Argentina but currently residing in Berlin; his playing manifests a spectrum of influences, ranging from spacious, delicate pulsation, to bursts of pure tone color into free music or charged noise. He collaborates with Z'EV, Ulrich Krieger (Lou Reed, Text of Light, Original Silence) and Michael Jon Fink, among others.
"Live At Adolf666" is the audio verité document of a clash between Aguirre's animalistic drums, Hegre's distorted guitar and the Berlin Police, called upon the scene due to a noise complaint. One single long track of improvised freeform brutality who will appeal to fans of noise, hardcore improv and the more oblique manifestations of metal.
