Sharp Claws Cats
Mathieu Werchowski & David Chiesa

Recorded in two churches in France, "Sharp Claws Cats" make full use of the majestic resonant spaces it was created in. Werchowski's violin and viola and Chiesa's double bass leave behind ghostly trails of overtones and harmonics (to the point of sounding electronic at times) as they intersect each other along wide fields of silence. A superb meeting of two masterly improvisors.

	Pores In The Porch And Puddles Beneath Spiral Joy Band with John W. Fail Spiral Joy Band, the side project of Pelt members Mikel Dimmick and Mike Gangloff, teams up with Glasgow-based US expat John W. Fail for 3 long excursions into the heart of the drone. Indian and tibetan instruments combine with hillbilly fiddle in a sonic bridge between 2 continents. Psychedelic trance-folk at its best.

Third album of Mécanosphère, Limb Shop is the soundtrack to the inner landscape of an hallucinating mind who suffered real and fictional amputation. Reconstructive sonic/rythmic/lyric surgery. A circular voyage into a labyrinth of heavy dub, chaos rock/ trash jazz, noise and alien drone ambient. Transgenetic at heart, the album was co-released by Soopa and produced by hhy.

	Brooming Mephitic Blast Hototogisu Co-released by Soopa and Esquilo Records as the first volume of the "Live Series" collaboration, "Brooming Mephitic Blast" documents Hototogisu's brain-melting show in Porto, on February 26, 2005. This limited-edition CD-R features drawings by Marcia Bassett.
